Action
The Deep Fry can be fished like a crankbait with a standard cast and retrieve as you fish it through the water column. You can also fish it with other retrieves to get a unique action at the12 to 15-foot depth range. “It gets down deep and works well with a pull and twitch retrieve,” says Bassmaster Elite Seriespro Paul Mueller. “It’s a versatile bait that can be fished like a crankbait or a jerkbait.”

The ima Deep Fry can be fished on spinning and bait cast gear thanks to a fixed weight system that provides additional cast ability. A standard setup for medium-running crankbaits is suitable for casting and working the lure. For line, 10 to 12-pound fluorocarbon is the perfect balance of strength and cast ability while getting the best action from the bait.
